Mildred “Mickey” David, nee Bloomberg, aka Gram, age 91. Loving wife of the late Allan A. David; proud mother of Carole Stone (Arthur Susman) and Brian (Cookie) David; devoted grandmother of Meg Stone (Mal Malme), Emily (Jonathan) Gelb, Phoebe (Michael) Nitekman, Alison (Adam) Cole-Kelly and Sammy (Lauren) David; delighted great grandmother of Annabel, Alexa, Joey, Oliver, Charlie and Amelia; dear sister of Leo (Laurie) Bloomberg, Paul (Lee)Mason, the late Rebecca (the late Merwin) Abrams, and sister-in-law of Melvin (Charlotte) David and the late Martha (the late Dave) Max, Rose (the late Jack) Lebed and Robert (the late Lorraine) David; cherished friend and mentor to legions. One of the famous sewing circle “AKA the swingers”, Mrs. David was a wonderful part of my life and the lives of all of the Arbetman family. I well remember buying birthday gifts for my Mother at her store and then she would put them on my Mother’s charge account. Of course this was much better than the year we bought my Mother a new baseball glove!! Mrs. David had humor and wisdom that she shared effortlessly. Along with Mrs. R and the other Sewing Circle ladies, she blessed all of us with her friendship and love.
